  2. great broadcast; quick question: Should I drop Bass for Odom? Bass hasn’t been playing good bball right now. Not even attempting as many shots as he did earlier in the season. I’m very close to dropping him for Bass, what do you think?

  3. Felton was also dropped in my league even if im one of the bottom teams in our 14 team league? I am on line dropping singler for mullens or tinsley.. Should i fall in line for felton if i dont get mullens or tinsley? :)

  4. Hecman,

    here’s my team:

    Jeff Teague
    Brandon Jennings
    Brandon Knight
    Joe Johnson
    Tim Duncan
    Josh Smith
    Zach Randolph
    Gerald Henderson
    Roy Hibbert
    Luis Scola
    Brandon Bass
    Shane Battier
    Rodney Stuckey
    Ray Allen
    Thabo Sefolosha

couple of players dropped recently that I’ve been thinking about scooping up, Mullens, Richard Hamilton, Lamar Odom…Do any of these players fill any of my needs?

  5. Evening Hec!

I just dropped Amir Johnson for Blatche in two of my leagues. Had Blatche during his hot streak (while Lopez was out) and just picked him back up upon hearing about Avery Johnson getting canned. I guess P.J. was pushing for Blatche and Lopez to play together more, so I pulled the trigger (albeit, probably a bit premature). Kinda wanted to stash Blatche in the event that Lopez gets injured again anyway, but I’m not sure dropping Amir was the smart thing to do. Bad move?

  6. Ugh, got one more for ya! Beal or Shved ROS? Looks like a shakeup in Washington could be coming, and Shved has been picking up minutes at the 3 now too. Should I hold Beal, or make the drop for Shveddy Vedder (Hmm, sounded funnier than it looks… bedtime, me thinks).

  7. I was trying to sell Sanders… Someone offered JR Smith and Jordan Crawford for my Sanders and Hump.. He said he was ok to trade westbrook for a package deal… But he wants big for him… He is interested with Nash Jsmith and Sanders… Another help here? He was the one I traded amare+Stuckey for gortat… :)

    Here’s his Team..

    Rodney Stuckey
    J.R. Smith
    Ray Allen
    Danny Green
    Dirk Nowitzki
    Evan Turner
    Amar’e Stoudemire
    Roy Hibbert
    Jordan Crawford
    Nikola Vucevic
    Rajon Rondo
    Russell Westbrook
    Avery Bradley

    My Team…

  8. @Boleros: Hola, you’re team is pretty stacked, the only guy I see to lose is Warrick. Long term you’ll be better off with Kaman.

@Marc: Thanks for the kind words on the podcast! I’d probably lose Bass for Odom at this point, Bass just isn’t getting it done. I’d probably lose Thabo and stash Mullens.

@Drez1: Let’s see how it goes with Blatche, no sense in looking back. If he’s not getting the minutes you can always lose him. Toss up between Beal and Shved, I like both a bunch albeit both have poor FG. Make the move, I’m cool with that.

@Onair: Thanks for the kind words on the podcast! I would lose Singler for Mullens and if you don’t get him, go for Felton and stash. Singler isn’t helping much anyway. How about Nash/Sanders/Hump in a deal for Westbrook and try to hold Josh Smith. Just a thought.

  9. Hec,

I dropped Patterson for Jason Thompson a few weeks ago before Patterson was injured. Got some decent numbers from Thompson but they have fallen off a bit recently. Do you advice switching back to Patterson when he returns?

    – Barry

  10. @Barry: I’d wait on Patterson to see if he regains his full minutes load once he’s back. Morris has played pretty well and may cut into his time.
